We couldn’t hear a thing besides the music and thats exactly what we wanted.
The dancehall is the only dark place we feel safe.
The base makes everything shake,
as much as I am,
while holding onto her hand.
Another light shoots across the room and makes everything seem pink,
Heat engulf us.
wrapping itself around my ankles, it slithers up into my body.
Now everything feels pink.
As I looked at her, I thought to myself what are you after ?.
